   Proposal Description:
   Specific Aims:  1.To determine whether a decrease in body-mass index (BMI) over one year, among subjects in the early stages of AD, will predict future decline in the rate of cognition and functioning, and increased behavioral symptoms, measured over the subsequent year.  2.To evaluate whether these associations are stronger among women and among those classified as underweight at baseline (BMI < 18.5 kg???m-2), according to standard cut-offs that have been previously proposed (World Health Organization, 2000).
